FAQs
Where are you based?
My clinic is in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex. I also offer video-therapy online and telephone consultations depending on your location and preference.
What hours are you available?
Weekdays 9am – 5pm.
A limited number of evening appointments are also available.
How many therapy sessions will I need?
The length of therapy will vary depending on the problem, your goals and the type of therapy. I usually recommend a minimum of 3-6 sessions for you to start to see progress; however, there is no commitment to continue with therapy at any point.
Do you prescribe medication?
No, Clinical Psychologists do not prescribe medication. If you are considering medication you should contact your GP or a Psychiatrist.
You can still go ahead with therapy if you are taking medication or planning to in the future.
If you are interested in being assessed for ADHD and exploring medication options I work in partnership with a clinic who offer prescriptions following diagnosis.
What to expect in session?
Sessions are 50-minutes long and usually take place on a weekly basis.
The initial assessment will explore your challenges and goals. It is an opportunity to decide whether to work together and to develop a plan for your therapy.
Additional sessions will explore your difficulties, help you to develop insights and try out new approaches and strategies to help you move forward.
Do you have a specialty?
Although I work with people with a variety of difficulties, I do have specialist experience and training in working with people with long-term health conditions (including cancer, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS)) and people with trauma, psychosis or bipolar disorder.

Do you work with children or adolescents?
